My mission is to help clients solve design-related problems by applying the wide range of experience and skills acquired over my 23-year design career. I often engaged in projects outside my comfort zone throughout my career because they were opportunities to gain new knowledge and grow new skills. Each new experience adds to my repertoire of "tools" that maximizes my ability to solve the many different challenges my clients face.

    Managed design and production projects for design firms utilizing multiple skills which resulted in minimizing errors and preventing problems.

    Optimized communication between marketing team, upper management, and IT consultants (web developers, business analysts) via UI / UX design for JPMorgan Chase’s web project which resulted in improved working relationship amongst the three groups.

    Revitalized website and created strategies for email ad campaigns that resulted in increased sales and web traffic for Sewtime Sewing Center.

    Helped improve brand image for Archbishop Molloy High School by re-designing logos and rendered artwork for their school signage, stationery, and uniforms. Also, explored machine embroidery digitizing tests and produced embroidered prototypes for their uniforms.

    Improved design aesthetics on powerpoint projects for presentation specialists utilizing design, drawing, layout, and retouching skills that resulted in them acquiring more interesting projects.

    I find it most rewarding to impact the lives of others by applying skills acquired from my work and personal experiences.

    I've engaged in design projects for NAAAP (National Association of Asian-American Professionals), Asian Outdoors, Queens Economic Development Center, Asian Women in Business, and Chinatown History Project (now MOCA).

    The most enduring and meaningful volunteering work for me has been the NAAAP Mentorship Program which allowed me to share my life experiences with a mentee whose friendship that continues to grow stronger every year until this very day.
